TurboPasswords combines a password management database with an integrated web toolbar. Once you save a secure website's information in the database, quick link and auto-fill options are available each time visit the site.

Though an excellent product, TurboPasswords falls short of the top-ranked TraySafe and RoboForm Pro because it doesn't automatically prompt to save new logins for new accounts. Furthermore, the 14 character password generator doesn't compare to the longer passwords the #1 and #2 programs will produce.

Features set:
TurboPasswords focuses on making password management user friendly. This password management software places two buttons in the Internet Explorer toolbar. The buttons allow you to convenient access your favorite sites, just by using a drop down box.

You can also make secure notes to store other important account information including usernames, PIN numbers and account numbers. Then, take your important information with you on a palm pilot or similar hand held device.

Easiness of use:
The TurboPasswords button, with the drop-down arrow, offers easy access to any account that contains a website field and a user name and/or Password field. All password information needs to be stored in the database prior to using the Internet.

TurboPasswords will not prompt to save a password every time you sign-up for something new. This is something you'll have to do with each new account.

Easiness of installation:
You'll have the option to have a TurboPasswords icon placed on your desktop during the installation process. Keep an eye out for this option while installing the software-the icon provides quick access to the program. We didn't encounter any problems while installing or uninstalling this product.

Help/Support:
There is a user's manual with a search feature that will guide you through almost any problem. For additional help, TurboPasswords provides a phone number and email address to contact support. They answered our emails within a few hours.

Security:
The password generator uses up to 14 characters and is equipped with an encryption device. A login alert system will notify you, the next time you sign in, if anyone has tried to guess your master password.

Summary:
TurboPasswords may be best for business professionals or those working from home. Combining database style with an Internet tool bar, TurboPasswords allows you to organize your passwords and access them easily.
