TraySafe backup options

TraySafe password manager: backup options page

  • The password backup folder - a folder to save copies of backup password files. It is useful to restore password files on emergency.
    Default: %TraySafe folder%/BackUp

  • Autobackup with saving - points TraySafe to copy password file into the backup before saving. In such a way user can recover the number of last password files and restore information from previous copies if he or she forgot a new password or used another hardware hash. Read more about backup at backup page.
    Default: unchecked

    • Maximum number of backups - the maximum numbers of the backup copies of the same password file for the Autobackup with saving option. Oldest backup files are replaced with new ones.
      Default: 10

  • Ask delete confirmation after file restoration - points TraySafe to delete from the backup recently restored password file if user confirms that in the appropriate dialog box.
    Default: unchecked
