Import password data

TraySafe import wizard provides easy import from other file formats

TraySafe import wizard for password data sharing between applications. There are 2 variants for the import:

  1. Import from the *.cvs file with the compatible format (tab-delimited files)
  2. Import from Internet Explorer
Currently TraySafe supports csv (Comma Separated Values files) files only. Their format should be Tab-delimited.

The dialog box of the Import wizard contains next fields:
  • File name - cvs file to import.

  • Import from Internet Explorer - import data from Internet Explorer (File name is ignored)

  • Create a new file - filename for a new file. If this option is unchecked, imported items will be added into the selected item in the accounts tree of currently opened passwords file.
