Password files backup

TraySafe provides users with backup and restoring functions for password files.

To execute the backup of a password file you need to open it. After it execute Main menu\File\Export&Import\Backup file or use the shortcut Ctrl+B instead.

File will be copied into the backup folder. A password will not be changed. Thus if you use hardware hash you cannot use backup files at another computers.

To restore backup files you can use Main menu\File\Export&Import\Restore from backup dialogue.

You can also set options for creating automatic backup before saving. This option is accessible at Option\Backup page.

Note:we recommend using read only mode as the alternative of the backup procedure. You can get the easier access to this option from Main menu\Options\Read only mode.
